Genes Construction LLC has been in the Dallas–Fort Worth construction business since 2001. The standard has not gotten louder. It has gotten more specific.
The company
Mike and Chere Bennett run a family company that specializes in residential and commercial roofing, with the surrounding trades — siding, paint, interiors after water, outdoor living — when the envelope and the finish need to belong to one schedule.
A steady share of the work still comes from insurance agents and real-estate professionals who need a contractor that will not inflate a scope or vanish after closing. That is not a marketing line. It is how the phone keeps ringing in a market full of storm chasers.
We serve Collin, Dallas, and Rockwall Counties from Frisco. Every job is inspected against the same bar: would we hand this elevation to a neighbor. If the answer is no, it is not done.
How we price and staff
Affordable is not the lowest number on a postcard. It is a complete scope, materials that belong on a North Texas roof, and a crew that will still take your call in year three of a shingle warranty. We tailor work to the house and the budget in front of us — including telling you when a repair is the honest move and a full replacement is not.
Roman Martynenko, who has worked on the crew, put it this way: the owners are honest, they lead by example, and the expectation is high-quality work with attention to detail. That is the culture we intend to keep.
Current methods
Heat-welded membranes, impact-rated shingles, moisture diagnostics, and details that match the product — not a 1990s drip edge on a 2020s panel.
